LUNCH ON OREGON COAST BETWEEN WINCHESTER BAY AND GOLD BEACH
In Charleston - from 101 take Ocean Blvd. through Coos Bay then just past the Y Marina - there is a place called Geno's (I believe) they have a Garbage Grinder that is very tasty, but not so healthy.
In Coos Bay - Downtown on 101 & Broadway - is the Coney Station, basic Pub food, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips and microbrews. Very good and consistant with friendly owners that double as the wait staff. This is where we normally end up when in Coos Bay.
In Bandon there is the Wheelhouse Restaurant with the Crow's Nest Lounge upstairs. I like to eat upstairs and view the Harbor. The lounge hours are seasonal and primarily open in late afternoon, but the Wheelhouse should be open for lunch. Across from there on the harbor there is a little indoor/outdoor eatery (sorry can't think of the name) they have very good fish tacos.
In Winchester Bay, we enjoy Griff's on the Bay. They'll grill the fish for their fish and chips upon request. Many really like their clam chowder; I really like Manhattan, though.
Also in Winchester Bay, Unger's Bay, on the T-Dock, Ork Rock Road has good fish and chips.
In Bandon, we enjoyed the Two Loons Cafe for lunch:
