I am going to Cafe Divan for a family celebration. No choice in the selection of the restaurant, so I'm not looking for reviews of the establishment...just suggestions on good apps. and meals. I don't need to be blown away. I just don't want a bad meal.

I was really excited to try out this Turkish restaurant because I love the cuisine and heard some good things about this place. I was disappointed, as well as my dining companions. We sampled a lot of different dishes, and things were a little bland. I've heard that this place used to be great but has gone downhill since the owners/mgt went from Turkish owners to Asian owners.

Thanks. Although we didn't end up going this visit, I will try to discourage my hosts from selecting this restaurant in the future.

The Doner Kebab, hands down. That meat can't be cooked any better.
