Anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan to get hush puppies?

A friend of mine is having a "Southern Fried Brunch" this weekend and wants hush puppies for it, but no one wants to make them. Where's a good place in Brooklyn or (preferably downtown) Manhattan to get them?

It's too late for your friend's brunch, but Cowgirl Seahorse (FiDi), Bubby's (Tribeca and DUMB0), and Blue Smoke (Murray Hill) serve them.

Better late than never- the same friend is having a sequel to the original brunch (it turned out great), so I'll have another chance. Thanks for the reply!

Chowhound has failed me so far! But I'll post what I've culled from a google search in case anyone looks for this topic in the future.

I think it's R.U.B, on 23rd Street near the Hotel Chelsea. Whatever the name of the BBQ place is, they have great hush puppies.
