  1. If you know anything about BBQ, Fat Matt's isn't the real thing. There's much better to be had in the area.

If you're into the gastropub experience at all, Holeman & Finch and Leon's have the range well covered.

    Swallow At the Hollow
1072 Green St, Roswell, GA 30075

    Fox Brothers' BBQ
1238 Dekalb Ave, Atlanta, GA 30307

    1. Ted is right about the que.

I do love the burgers at the Vortex.
Hope you have fun. Report back and let us know what you liked and where you went.

      1. Fat Matt's????? REALLY???? yuck. Fox Bros. is a much better choice as Ted noted.

        1. Agree on Fox Bros over Fat Matt's. Be sure to get the mac n cheese.

          1. As others have already stated, there are several better choices for bbq in metro Atlanta. In addition to Fox Bros. and Swallow at the Hollow, which are both very good choices, you might try Sam's Lost Mountain BBQ (formerly Sam & Dave's BBQ 1)
