3 days in Hong Kong--suggestions?
I will be in Hong Kong for three non-consecutive days, and I am looking for the best Chinese food choices that would be different from (or far superior to) the SF Bay Area.
I was planning 3 brunches (dim sum) and 3 dinners.
For brunch, my top choices so far are Fu Sing Shark Fin Seafood Restaurant, Yan Toh Heen (I'm staying at the Intercontinental) and either Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum Restaurant, Victoria Harbour Seafood or Spring Moon.
For dinner, I've been looking at more possibilities, inlcuding Hutong, Yung Kee (4th floor), Yin Yang, Fook Lam Moon, Sheung Hing Chiu Chow, San Xi Lou, Da Ping Huo or perhaps a Shanghaiese place (Crystal Jade La Mian Xio Long Bao, Lao Ching Hing, Liu Yuan Pavilion or Little Southern Country). Note that the first dinner might be a "jet lag" night, so less formal might be better.
Which of these (or others) would be among the best choices for a good introduction of some of the best of what Hong Kong has to offer? Also, if the 4th floor of Yung Kee is on this list can someone tell me (1) What's different about the menu on this floor versus the other floors and (2) can this simply be requested through the online form on their website in the comments section, or will I need the hotel concierge to help?
Thanks in advance for your help!
