Delivery (Jackson/Hyde) for visiting NYC 'hound?

I will be in SF for three nights and have rented an apartment near Jackson and Hyde. I am traveling with a toddler who will probably fall asleep by 5-6 because of the time change and am therefore looking for some good delivery options for my dinners.

Am open to anything not crazy expensive but would especially love Vietnamese, Thai, and Burritos.

We will also need a source for organic milk, fruit and assorted snacks. Already plan on going to Boulange for daily croissants!

(And if anyone has suggestions for wrangling a toddler in the neighborhood please pass those along as well!)

  1. Here are a couple of CH threads from last year on Chinese delivery in that area. I also included the Grubhub site so you can plug in your address and see what else is available.

    1. Unfortunately, San Francisco doesn't have the kinds of delivery options NY does. In addition to grubhub, you can try Waiters on Wheels (

There's a Whole Foods not far from you.

Another option to pick up some essentials is Le Beau market on the corner of Clay and Leavenworth. They also have a fantastic deal for sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, etc.

      2. As for Vietnamese delivery, Aux Delices is pretty good...I've been a couple of times to the restaurant and have always been happy.
