Curry Plant

gtrekker2003 Jul 29, 2009 05:35 AM

Anybody know where I can buy a curry plant? Not the curry leaves one that resembles rosemary leaves, but a curry plant, aka sweet neem, similar to the leaves found in the grocery or Indian stores.

Here is a link:

Willing to travel anywhere or order online. Haven't had much luck finding this yet.

Assuming we're talking about Murraya Koenigii it seems to be reasonably well available - even listed by Wyevale Garden Centres

Which Wyevale have you seen them at? Or what search terms did you use on their site?

I just put in Murraya Koenigii and came up with no results. It sounds like this is the same as the curry plant.

      try http://www.oldhallplants.co.uk/
Or you can grow them from cuttings - including from fresh 'branches' from Asda or other grocer.

Thanks Peg. Do you just stick the branches in the soil or is it necessary to root them first? I've been trying to root some branches I got from Asda but they seem to dry up very quickly. Any suggestions or advice?
