I think this is the best deal when you consider quality and ambiance. I tried it a few months ago and really enjoyed my meal.

My fav is Lewis' in Essex, old school place with good comfort food. The regular PR dinner is $18.95 and the large is $21.95, a great deal, and it has excellent flavor. I've never finished a PR there.

Not to hijack this thread, but normally I'd suggest Durgin Park as having excellent and reasonably-priced prime rib.
However, I went back there for dinner last week, for the first time in about a year or so and was completely floored by the prices. The food quality was still the same, but it's no longer an inexpensive place to eat. The Yankee Cut Prime Rib was $29.95 and the larger Durgin cut was $39.95. Even the plate of New England Boiled Dinner was $18.95.
Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems that those prices are at least double what I remember from the last time I was there.

Lewis' Prime Rib is so good and it's so big that it hangs off the plate!
