What's Fun and Fabulous in Vegas?

We are headed off to vegas for three nights and are looking for fun places with fabulous food!! We've been a few times and LOVE places that are casual with great food fun atmosphere and service. Not much into the high end tasting menus anymore (been there done that) so unless there is loads of fun factor please give us other alternatives
On the top of our favorites list is

Nine Fine Irishmen - Yummy mac and cheese side dish and great Irish music
Stack - great bar and people watching
Red Square - Love the ice bar

Jelly Belly, I'm with you on the casual fun spots with great food vs fussy! 'Nuf said.

We always have a lot of fun doing lunch at Joe's Steak & Seafood (aka Joe's
Stone Crab) in the Forum Shops. Probably been there 8-10 times for lunch and always excellent. Maitre d staff is friendly/witty and will work with you to get the kind of table you want. Get a spot on the edge of the patio, because it's some of the best people watching in Vegas. The food is excellent (my fav is the crab louie salad), wines by the glass are pretty good and the prices are less than what you usually pay at the nicer resort restaurants.

We just got back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago and found that eating in bars at some of the nicer restaurants was perfect for us. It's not busy in Vegas, so they all were very accomodating to feed as much or little as we wanted in the bar. Again, not fussy, staff and other guests are usually available to joke around with and we got to have a good sampling of the restaurant's best without over eating. Another benefit is that if it's not fun, it's easy to just get up and go somewhere that is. We had so much fun and amazing food experiences at Morels in Palazzo, Daniel Boloud at Wynn and Sinatra at Wynn Encore.

Burger Bar in the mall that connects Mandalay Bay with the Luxor was a fun lunch, although I can't say we didn't overeat there! But the cosmo milkshake was so worth it...

Great recs! I loved the cosmo milkshake from Burger Bar...in addition to the foie gras, medium rare Angus burger that I got with the carmelized onions and the famous black truffle sauce. Best burger EVER!
I loved DB at the Wynn, as well. That was the best meal that my hubby and I have ever had! A table by the window for a clear view of the Lake of Dreams show would have been lovely.
Joe's was good...but not something that I thought was completely fun or fabulous. Not sure if it was good enough to warrant another trip back there...but our son really enjoyed his First Mate's (Fisherman's) plate. He particularly liked the shrimp, but came to like the calamari rings and scallops.

Thanks for the great reccomendations! Just got back from vegas where there is all kinds of fun to be had!
We had a chance to try out Joe's! I knew I would love it since I've gone to Miami before for the sole purpose of going to Joe's
It was great people watching and the food was outstanding. Love those stone crabs. Thanks for the other recommendations also - more places to try on our next trip!

off the strip but not too far away - hot n juicy crawfish - something about rolling up you sleeves, putting the bib on and a bag of crawfish and/or shrimp and/or crab dropped in front of you in a bag and you go to town - and let me tell ya - good eats ! especially if you go with the spicy stuff ! a couple cold beers, alot of paper towels - all good !

Firefly is a tapas restaurant located on Paradise Road that draws a fun crowd for their excellent drinks and food. It has just opened a 2nd location downtown in the Plaza. The location is in the dome so you will be able to see and hear the light show at the Fremont Street Experience. There is a happy hour at the original with 1/2 price drinks and complimentary tapas between 3 and 6PM.
