DD1 is finishing her internship in Lesotho and will be visiting Cape Town & Jo'burg in early August for a week. She is a college student looking for good, but inexpensive food. She is kosher, but vegetarian food is very acceptable. Any suggestions would be welcome! She is out of Internet range currently but will be online in a week. Thanks!

In Cape Town, I would definitely recommend Portobello (111 Long street) and Bird's boutique Cafe (127 Bree street). They are both excellent. If you are looking for more information about CapeTown, you should check on www.voilacapetown.com.
