Where are the top places to get reasonably priced food in Gaithersburg, MD?

Cava-delicious tapas, fun atmosphere (although I am not sure if it is in Rockville/Gaithersburg.)

Just tried Uncle Charlies Backyard BBQ. It was a great brisket sandwich, great coleslaw AND potato salad. No ambiance, but friend young guys owning and managing this place (totally a dump but me and my buddy enjoyed our lunch here very much!)

To me, there's not really that many great restaurants in my new hometown of Gaithersburg. We like Buca de Beppo, Bonefish and Minerva Indian Restaurant on Rt 355 and Shady Grove Rd. We also like Moby Dick, a chain, but still pretty good veggie pita sandwiches and kabobs.

There's tons of decent cheap ethnic eats in the Gaithersburg area, you just have to look for them.

me0910, just asking for good restaurants isn't very productive - you could just search the boards and find tons of information about Gaithersburg restaurants. Do you want to be more specific about your likes/dislikes and we can point you in a more meaningful direction.

One of the cheap ethnic eats worth checking out: Pepito's.

        1. Flor de la Canela: Peruvian. 117 North Frederick. In a dismal little strip mall, but lovely interior and fabulous, reasonable food.
        2. Burma Road: Burmese. 617 South Frederick, about a mile south of Flor de la Canela. Always seems to be filled with Burmese people having banquets in the back room.
        3. Acajutla. 18554 Woodfield Rd. Down home Salvadoran and Mexican. Their prices haven't changed since we started going 20 years ago.
All three places have been well reviewed in WaPo.
