Orlando: Anniversary Dinner Rec Needed

Will be staying near the Disney resort and on this particular family trip, we will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary, so we're getting a sitter and looking forward to a nice evening out alone.

I've complied a list so far, but am open to recommendations.

Blue Zoo
California Grill
Flying Fish
Emeril's Tcoup Chop

  1. Consider Primo. I have never had a bad meal there; the problem is I always want to order much more than I, or we, can eat. I always want to start with the pizza, which is divine, but that limits the other possibilities.
Go to the website and look at the menu, which always makes my mouth water.

I just ate at Blue Zoo and Tchoup Chop and both were stellar experiences. Service was outstanding, food was amazing and ambience was great in both. Tough call! Happy anniversary!

    2. If you want a really special anniversary dinner, go to Victoria and Alberts. If you don't want to spend that much money, of the one's you listed, I'd go to either Cali Grill or Blue Zoo.

      1. I 2nd Primo. I have never had a bad meal there, which I cannot say about your other choices.

        1. I agree with Corporate_40, Victoria and Alberts actually won a few orlandosentinel foodie awards for most romantic dinner. ;)

ive been to tchoup tchoup and it wasnt very impressive. the food was ok...

primo is excellent as well but I think it is a bit far from disney?

Though I'm sure it's great, V&A doesn't really seem our style. Leaning towards Blue Zoo at the moment.

how about texas de brazil ? I think they have anniversary specials if you sign up for their emails online

if you go to blue zoo let us know how it is! ive never been

Texas de Brazil has great food, but it's not a 2-person romantic dinner kind of place. We went once just the two of us and it wasn't nearly as fun as going with a group. I'd save it for another event.

Blue Zoo and California Grill are wonderful. Blue Zoo is perhaps just a little better.

Agreed. We've been to a Texas locally. Would never go to a chain while traveling. It's the rare occasion to sample one-off local establishments. We ended up making reservations at Blue Zoo.

          2. All on your list would be pretty good (Ca grll, and Flying Fish are gonna be pretty noisy thought)....

Ok this isn't real close (30-40 minute car drive away) but Chefs Table at Edgewater Hotel in Winter Garden would be a good choice.

Excellent food and service, no kids will be dining there (which can't be said about all the ones (except V and A's) that have been mentioned here. I also think Primo is a great experience.
