My parents are visting Rome in August for the first time - celebrating their 25-year wedding anniversary. I want to treat them to a dining experience and am looking for suggestions... obviously great food, unpretentious atmosphere and somewhere that feels that bit special. Grateful for any recommendations - thanks!

  1. As you probably know, most restaurants are closed for vacation in August. Check the Rome board for my suggestions of places that ARE OPEN.

      Great - thanks!

    2. My family and I were there last month and had some lovely dining experiences. Would especially reccomend La Fiametta, l'Angoletto, and San Crispino gelato. In general, the area around the Pantheon offers conveniently located and very good restaurants. Where will you be staying? Also be forewarned that Italy is crazy expensive right now! :(
