Singapore Sling

I had a fantastic Singapore Sling at the 501 Club in Minneapolis last week. It consisted of:

Cherry Heering
grapefruit joice
pineapple juice
lemon sour

It was awesome! Though I have heard there are different recipes for this drink. Care to share any additional SS recipes I can make at home?

    1. Here's one from the 1950s from the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, originator of the Singapore Sling:

      1 oz lime juice
1 oz Cherry Heering (the only cherry liqueur worth buying. Everything else is cough syrup)
      1/4 oz Bénédictine
      1/4 oz brandy
      2 oz gin
      1-1/2 oz club soda

Shake everything *except soda* like hell with ice cubes. Strain into a tall glass (something fancy looking, preferably), and gently stir in the club soda. Fill the glass with ice cubes, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
