Two Guys Pizza - 36th between 10th & 11th
Pick A Pita - 8th Ave between 39th & 40th
Amazonia (sandwiches, salads, smoothies) - 9th Ave between 37th & 38th
The Pump - 38th between 6th & Bway (it may be a little far, but they have a great, pretty extensive, healthy menu)
Broadway's Jerusalem II (Israeli, pizza, AND make-your-own salad) - Bway between 37th & 38th

if this isn't too far for you; mooncake foods is on west 30th, just past 8th ave. excellent food, very veggie friendly, very cheap.

You are not taking the Bar are you? If so, you wont really have the time (or the inclination) to talk to any of those places. I'm pretty sure I brought my lunch to the bar exam, though it is all so fuzzy now....

I am unfortunately. I'm planning to bring my lunch tomorrow (the NY day), but for barbri's MBE practice day I finished an hour early for each session. Even if I only finish a 1/2 hour early for the real MBE, I figure that should give me enough time to get away for a little bit. It's to bad there's like nothing by the Javits Center.

I would also suggest, based on my own experience, that you just bring your lunch the 2nd day as well.

Maybe I'll see how things go the first day and then decide from there about the second day, but I'd definitely like to get away from the throngs of stressed out people for a bit if I can. Thanks for all the good luck wishes!
