Christine in Torrance
Hello all,
I'm headed to Christine's this weekend, and was wondering if anybody has been there, or has any thoughts on what to order, what to avoid, etc.
Much appreciated...

I've been, but it's been a while (over a year?), since I have moved up to West LA. The food is the "tried and true" Cal-Asian-Med fusion that many places seem to be doing these days.
I was a fan of the appetizer sampler and the crayfish and avocado tower. I can't remember what I had entree-wise.

Love this place, though it's too far for me to go often. Suggest that you trust the usually excellent wait staff to match your general preferences. They seem to me to be especially good at wines. Menu is eclectic and ever changing so it's hard to suggest standards.

I went a few months ago. I remember it being good but it didn't blow me away. Several friends ordered the lobster mac & cheese appetizer and loved it. I had the tasting menu, which was pretty good overall, except I remember the salad being large and the entree being very small and a little dry (it was duck).
