Fun birthday place
Looking for a fun place for 6 of us to celebrate my husbands 50. Thinking along the lines of jamancan jerk hut. Casual different fun but heard it can take over an hour to get ur food and other bad stuff. We would be going on a sat eve in august. Any other suggestions? Maybe tiki in spring mt? Thanks!

I'm not sure how close you are to the northeast but I am tentatively planning my husband's 40th birthday at Picahana in the Northeast. Its a brazilian steakhouse, similar to Fogo de Chao, but much more casual and much less expensive. If you like the jerk hut, it sounds like you are looking for more of a fun atmosphere than a nice or fancy atmosphere. Picahana has the big salad bar with side dishes and all kinds of meat. It is BYO and they will mix cariphinas (spelling?) for you. They also have excellent desserts and do offer special occasion cakes. Price is only around $22/pp which is great if you are on a budget.
