Good food/kid friendly place close to Universal Studios

We are taking our kids to a concert at Universal Studios tonight. Any good suggestions for food in the area that can also accomodate kids?

    we are trying to stay away from the tourist traps since we live in hollywood.

        All the food at Universal Citywalk is pretty awful, but Hard Rock Cafe is decent.

        btw, all the Citywalk restaurants are kid friendly - it's a tourist mecca.
