Does anyone know of any restaurants in the Dallas area that make a good gnocchi?

Yeah, preferably a restaurant that makes their own from scratch rather than open a package.

Many nice places have hand made gnocchi. Arcodoro & Pomodoro has a cream and basil sauce with their gnocchi that is to die for. They also have a gnocchetti with wild boar that I haven not tried. http://www.arcodoro.com/Dallas/Dinner...

Tom Colicchio is famous for his, and we have Craft at the W. Well executed from chef Harris when it is on the menu.

Based on mentioning Arcodoro & Pomodoro, that should mean Keiichi's ought to good as well.

I'm not exactly sure on the timeframe, but Kei-san has worked at both Arcodoro & Pomodoro locations, first in Dallas and then in Houston. He set up shop in Denton earlier this year, and serves both Italian and Japanese dishes.

That's an interesting combination. Italian and Japanese.

Snooty Foodie lists Ferrari's as having the best in town.

I was completely underwhelmed by the food at Ferrari's. Very mediocre and the portions were small. Never had the gnocchi.

I'm not a fan of Ferrari's either. For the same reasons as stated above.
