Where to buy dried chilis on Internet?

Which is the best purveyor of dried chiles on the Internet? I bought a bag of dried ancho chili from my local tienda yesterday and took them home to find them crawling with bugs -- and multiple kinds of bugs to boot.

Thanks.

Do you have a Cost Plus World Market nearby?
They have a couple varieties.. not a ton, but I have picked up Thai and Chipotle chilis there fairly inexpensive. Especially if you purchase them in the packets and use your own jars.

Great place that's just minutes from my house. Quality like this is hard to find, as they've been around Texas 130 yrs and they have fantastic customer service.

Wow, you must be unlucky - I've been buying whole dried chiles forever without finding any bugs. OTOH corn meal and grits ......

First, take the chiles back to the market and explain your concern. If the market is run by decent people they deserve another chance.

If you don't feel lucky, try another market.

If you Really want to order off of the Internet and pay a correspondingly higher price, try these sites:

        Good luck!
