Organic (not raw, please!) restaurant on the Westside?

Ideally, where the atmosphere is also pretty nice?

Not everything must be organic, but most things - the meats, cheeses, vegetables, ideally, should be.

That doesn't mean I'm looking for vegan, or macrobiotic, or raw, by the way. No, I like my food cooked and I'm not a vegetarian.

Just organic.

Not a huge fan of Akasha, though perhaps someone can persuade me otherwise.

Any food type will do, as long as it's tasty. .

Thanks, Chowhounds!

  1. Sauce on Hampton in Venice. Good, organic, solid food that won't break the bank.

    1. i like Axe on Abbot Kinney in Venice.

there's also Tender Greens in Culver City, or Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon.

A Votre Sante and Literati II (both in Brentwood) use some - though not all - organic ingredients.

I haven't tried Sauce yet but it seems most posts have been very favorable.

I second Axe. They take great pride in sourcing their ingredients.

      2. Rustic Canyon on Wilshire, in Santa Monica.
