My wife & I happened to stop in at Clementine yesterday. We were unaware that it was the first day of their Late Summer Menu or "The Tomato Menu".
Lucky us, the food was simply OUTSTANDING.
We ordered the Caprese De-Lux, served on delicious Olive Bread, the Clementino, a side of Grandma's Potato Salad & a side of the delicious Sicilian pasta salad.
We finished with the Banana Cream Cake & two lattes.
Perfection!
My wife & I agreed, it was, quite possibly, one of the best lunches we've ever had.
So many things looked good, we are heading back soon to try all the things we passed over!

That sounds so good you have me drooling like a Saint Bernard doing a 10K on the 4th of July in Vegas. ;-D> Thanks for the heads up. Will try to make it over there to try some of their tomato things out (and if I do I'll come back and post of course).

I have their Greek salad at least once a week. They ordinarily don't put tomatoes in it but now that it's tomato season I think they've gone a little overboard putting them in just about everything they can think of. Last night I ordered a bowl of chili...very heavy on big chunks of tomatoes but, nonetheless, quite tasty.
I'm a big fan of Clementine. It's convenient and always packed.
Now if they could ONLY do something about the inconsistent, oftentimes horrendous, service. There are a number of us who always stand in line rolling our eyes, shaking our heads, laughing and collectively saying 'never again' yet we know we'll come back for more.
