Beer Geek in Albany

NYC hound heading to Albany the evening before Ommegang's Belgian Fest. Looking for a good restaurant with a good beer menu to match (if possible). Otherwise, may try another recommended resto on this board or maybe the brewpub. Cheers!

Check out Wolff's Biergarten. Lots of Munich-fresh beers on tap.

I haven't been to the pump station in about five years, but last time I went the food, and beer, was very good.

I like the Pump Station. Good food and good beer. The onion soup and burgers were good.

Definitely pop in to Mahars to have a beer:

Browns Brew Pub is good. It has a large patio on the river, which makes it especially nice this time of year.

Albany Pump Station is well received. I can't speak for it myself

If you can get over to Troy, you might want to consider going to Brown's Taproom, 417 River St. Can't comment on the food, but the beer selection is great.
