Has anyone eaten there since it re-opened?

I haven't but I loved it before. I hope you get some feedback. I was so upset when it closed.

Just ate at Black Bass Inn since the renovations. The place is gorgeous. Most of the tables are either along the water, or have a water view. There is also outdoor dining on a patio overlooking the river. The service was fine. The food, however, was disappointing.
Caesar salads were of diner quality. My mahi-mahi was fine, but the other three diners with me said their entrees were, at best, average. The dessert selection was very limited. Rice pudding was not very good. We had hoped for more.

My wife and I went to the Black Bass in Lumberville PA to celebrate our 24th Anniversary this week and it was very good. It is a beuatiful dining room and on sunny days you use there patio. A few issues with the food but would still rate the meal as very good. You can read about our food at my blog http://petersfoodadventure.wordpress....

My husband, my young son and I just returned from two fabulous meals and a night at the Black Bass inn. I have to say that every aspect of the visit was wonderful. Both times we called prior to our arrival we spoke with a pleasant, live person (no machine), the grounds and building were just beautiful, and our three dinners were simply perfect, from soup (seafood corn chowder--so good) to appetizers (mine were delicious scallops with wasabi) to our delicious entrees (crab au gratin, sea bass). Breakfast the next morning was also great, with tasty waffles with pecans and two fluffy omelets. I should note that our room had a gorgeous view of the Delaware and offered the best night's sleep I've had in a while. I can't imagine why anyone would temper their review of this lovely place. It is without equal in the area, and the area boasts many fine restaurants.
