New Greek Restaurant in Forest Hills?

Has anyone heard a rumor that a new greek restaurant is opening in the Casa de Elian spot on Metropolitan. The woman at Wafa told me, but can't seem to find any info confirming this.

Looks like the new restaurant is called Nick's Bistro. Anyone have any info?

damn! that was a quick one for casa de elian! personally, I'm waiting for that vaguely indian restaurant to open in rego park, a couple blocks from 63rd Drive

Sajni (some number)? It opened a few weeks ago....on Qns. Blvd near Sato....its good, and pretty inexpensive....we desperately need more Indian in the neighborhood....

could be; I remember something like Miss Sajni or Queen Sajni, something like that. I'm surprised that there isn't a better indian in the area.

I was thinking also of Sveta House which is down near near the off-ramp of the LIE on queens boulevard, next to the bike shop and the indian catering hall; it was a stern russian place; when I walked it, the place was immaculate and tables fully dressed but very forbidding.

Sajni is right next door to Sato; looks scary! very dark and lounge-like in a bad way, lot of neon and big screen TV, narrow space with a bar at the back but an oppressive air that negated the cool lounge look. will try the food; it is very cheap!
