dinner after theater?

Hi all,

I am planning on taking wife out to a show and a late dinner afterwards. Theater is near Market and 5th.

Looking for a somewhat upscale and classy place with nice ambiance as well as food. Price (within reason) not to big a deal, but ability to get reservations for early august is.

suggestions??

    If you don't mind taking a cab or streetcar up market, Zuni's is nearby.

        flexible on day of week, but probably 9:30 if we go after (my pref.) or 6:30 if we go before 8pm show.

          You'll have more choices at 9:30 on Friday and Saturday. Chez Papa, Farmer Brown, Fish & Farm, and Colibri are all nearby and open later.
