Burgermeister Changes

Anyone have any scoop on how the new menu items at Burgermeister are?

I went last night, and noticed they've added things like cheese steaks, fish & chips, hot dogs, etc. I also noticed that prices have exploded--a basic burger is now $9, cheese $0.75, bacon $1.5, avocado ~$1.5. Beer was $5.75, highway robbery. Basic Boca Burger is also the same price as the 1/2 lb Niman Ranch burger--$9. Apparently they really aren't interested in any vegetarian business.

This makes some of the other pricey burgers around town look more reasonable, considering their ingredients are a cut above and I can't think of anywhere else in town where I could manage to spend $5.75 for a pint of regular "microbrew." We're pretty price-insensitive if the quality is there, but these prices really bug us.

The burger, as usual, was a well-prepared classic American burger, cooked on the rare side of medium rare, as requested. Fries were entirely acceptable.
