Vegas, Romantic, on a Monday?

I am hoping that everyone can help me out here:

I am looking for a really romantic place for a dinner on a Monday night next month. I am staying at the Wynn, but unfortunately Alex is closed Mondays. I have been to SW and DB and am not sure the other places are right for the occasion. Any thoughts on Sinatra? My sense it ttht it could work, but might not really be the atmosphere I'm looking for.

Budget-wise, I think Robuchon and Guy Savoy are out. And I dont think my companion would really like Restaurant Charlie.

I had thought of Le Cirque and Aureole's Swan Court, but unfortunately both are closed Monday as well.

Perhaps somewhere else at Bellagio with a view of the fountains. I'd love to hear opinions on Prime Steakhouse, which is my leading contender right now. Olives seems too casual, and I've been reading bad things about Picasso. Also, thoughts on Michael Mina?

Other places I've been considering: Mix (but very mixed reviews), Alize, Andre's.

Any recommendations on these or others that I may be missing would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Circo would be better than Olives at Bellagio for atmosphere, and I THINK they're open on Monday - and you can see the fountains . . . but it's been years since I've been there. Sinatra - we went their opening day and I think it could fit the "dinner at a nice place" bill, but . . . "romantic" might mean something else. My wife thought our dinner there was quite romantic, but it wasn't a dark room, if that's what you're looking for.

Best of luck with it . . .

    1. Is Bartolota (in Wynn) open? Definitely request to sit at one of the cabana's on the patio - very romantic. Or maybe Charlie Palmers in the Four Seasons.

I 2nd Bartolotta.....the Cabana's are very Romantic. The only problem next month may be the heat. It could still be very warm in the evening.
I loved the Bartolotta Tasting menu in June when the evening was in the 70's. In August you may be facing 90-100 degree evenings.....
Dining inside Bartolotta is beautiful as well....though not an intimate as the Cabanas.
