Anywhere I can get both good crabs and crabcakes in Baltimore?
Looking for a lunch place this Sunday in Baltimore that serves both good crabs and crabcakes. I've been to Faidley's before and found their crabcakes to be surprisingly good (considering I don't like crabmeat). I've also tried Obrycki's and thought their crabs were decent. The thing is most places seem to specialize in one, but not the other.
We are tourists from out of town so we don't have ridiculously high standards for our crabmeat. As long as it's good, prices are reasonable, and the place is comfortable (probably won't do Faidley's because they don't have seating). Based on what I've read here, Bo Brooks is too touristy and Mr. Bill's is a bit far.
Looking forward to your recommendations!

I think Ocean Pride is a great suggestion. You also may want to look into Schultz's in Essex--not much farther than Mr Bill's: http://www.schultzs.com/

I know you said Mr Bill's is a bit too far, but it really is worth the trip! I have been born and raised on Maryland Blue Crabs and cakes, and Mr Bill's truely is the best, bar none! So if you have the means to travel up Eastern Ave from downtown, you will experience the best crabs AND crab cakes in Baltimore!

Just north of the city line in Lutherville is the Ocean Pride, great crabs and crab cakes.

Probably a good bet would be Gunnings which is outside of Baltimore, but they have decent crabs and crab cakes. Also try thr pepper rings
