Bar American Hot Brown for dinner?

Hey everyone

My parents are in town for dinner tonight and really want to go to Bar Americain (the Bobby branding apparently works really well on them). Here's the catch: My dad only really wants the Hot Brown which is on the lunch menu. They wont be here for lunch so has anyone had any luck getting one for dinner? Or any suggestions for sweet-talking my way into one for him?

I would suggest calling and explaining the situation. Maybe you can sort of "special order" it. I would think they would be happy to accomodate you. I think generally his places are pretty good with the customer service.

Okay, I'll bite. What the heck is Hot Brown?

A Kentucky Hot Brown is an open face turkey sandwich. Bascially white bread topped with turkey, melted cheese/cheese sauce, grilled tomato, and bacon. I saw the episode of Throwdown when Bobby Flay lost to some guys from Kentucky.
