My 10 year old son is dying for a soft shell crab sandwich, we live in Monroe Township, but willing to drive about 45 minutes for some delicious soft shell crab. Any ideas?????

well if ure looking to make yourself, try Clark's Fishery in Clark... some Wegmans also carry but you have to ask for them, they're not always displayed. Circus Drivein in Belmar/Wall Township on Rt 35 has ss crab sandwiches, not great but good. www.circusdrivein.com, there's Shrimp King down on Rt 130 (i hope thats the name, I cant remember), they're supposed to be consistently good.

Pamela, I second nyebaby on Shrimp King. It's on 130 N. in Robbinsville. The family who owns the place is very nice. While not of the same quality you might find in Maryland, it will satisfy a soft shell sandwich urge. . Hope your son enjoys!

Thanks, I guess we'll be heading down to Shrimp King.

      Just a thought ...

If you sit at the bar at Nicholas you can order the Crispy Soft Shell Crab a la carte. At $15 each, a meal of them wouldn't be cheap, but they are excellent. Throw one on some of their bread ... ;o)
