Where can I get Meyer lemons in Montreal? I always substitute regular lemons in my recipes but I am ready to try the real thing.

    They're heeeeere...

I got 3 sacks of 4 lemons at Provigo, Mt Royal corner St Urbain. :)

Chez Louis and Chez Nino at the Jean Talon Market often have them, as does Fruiterie du Marché Atwater. IIRC, there have been reports of affordable bags at Loblaws and Provigo in season; not one to frequent chain grocery stores, I've never seen them.

One to frequent them often (ummm, is everyday often??)- Loblaws and Provigo in fact to have them, in mesh bags (never seen them sold by the unit) - but not all the time - as Carswell said, when in season.

When does meyer lemon season start? It's like an early winter thing, like mandarins/clementines, isn't it?

They're around now - I got some at Fruiterie Atwater a few weeks back, and saw them at Chez Nino on Saturday (although theirs seemed a tad soft).

"Meyer lemons are now available from a few growers in Texas and Florida, as well as California. The main season is from October through April, with fruit available sporadically through the summer months." -Chez Panisse Fruit
