best wings in orlando

i've been here for four years and am still trying to find the best wing, and i don't prefer chains. no buffalo wild wings, ale house, or wing shack. i am talking about a local joint that makes there own sauce, not pre-made, and really distinct. so far for me, the best has been in this dive off boggy creek rd called third base pub. no joke, awesome. i thought i was gonna get killed walking in there since my wife and i were the only non-caucasians in there, but i was surprised to see everyone was super nice. we drank cheap beer and played pool and ate some of the most unique buffalo wings ever. when asked what's there secret, the owner told me there spice blend has heat, but also savory herbs in it as well. really really good. but i love to to try new places, so let me know.

I definitely want to try the ones at Graffiti Junktion. They're next on my list...

Graffiti's wings are very good, but also very different. I could see a traditonal wing person not liking them.

Hurricane Grill is a small chain but have good wings. they have 42 different flavors. Spatz, a smoky bar in winter park has good wings. Freindly confines is not bad either.

If you are ever in Daytona stop by the south turn. best wings in FLA imo.

You know, after I posted this I realized that Graffiti Junktion's wings really aren't the typical wings, andI met have misled hydro 13. They're fabulous: fresh and plump and flavorful with an incredible sauce, but they're not authentically Buffalo-style.

i went to g. junk. last night and tried the wings. i liked them. great building heat, really intense spice blend, very southwestern w/ an emphasis on cumin. my only complaint would be that i like a little twang in mine, some kind of vinegar or acid punch. besides that, definetely a unique wing and i would recommend it to anyone who likes wings. a side note, you should know they have a light breading on them if you're not into that kind of thing.

      2. Maybe not the best wings ever but they are pretty good and distinct. the "blarney" style wings at Fiddlers Green

        1. Sigh . . . it used to be Bill's Elbow South that had the best wings until they closed. I'll have to try a few of these other recs.
