Asian/seafood in Vancouver

u.of.c. eddie Jul 20, 2009 09:14 AM

I'll be in Vancouver and am looking for some not-too-expensive spots ($15-$25 USD) for seafood and asian dining. Will be staying at the the Sheraton Wall Centre so I'd prefer places in the vicinity, although I am not averse to taking public transportation. Please, no national chains, although chains found only in the Pacific northwest may be of interest.

If you can venture out of the downtown core:

    Peaceful for Northern Chinese
Go Fish for Fish and Chips (lunch)
There are a slew of sushi places in the area...Okada would be my pick for downtown.
Joe Fortes (seafood) has an Early Bird for $28CAD.

Japadog doesn't really count as "Asian" dining, but it is close to the Wall Centre.

    Peaceful Restaurant

    Go Fish Ocean Emporium
    1505 W 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J, CA

845 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC V6Z2K7, CA

    Okada Sushi Japanese Restaurant
888 Nelson St, Vancouver, BC V6Z2H1, CA
