Tips for Dining, Eating and Food Shopping in British Columbia and the Territories (inc. Vancouver)

Asian food in Vancouver

My wife and daughters (8, 5) will be in Vancouver and Whistler in August. Can anyone suggest:

-Korean (my wife is Korean so she's quite knowledgable)
-Chinese (I had my first dim sum in Vancouver years ago and would love a great suggestion)
-Japanese

Any thoughts -- especially about Korean -- will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. I'm assuming you are right downtown so here are a few quick recs:

    Korean - Norboo (homesyle Korean)
    Dim Sum - Kirin on Alberni (Dim sum and Northern Chinese)
    Japanese - Guu with Garlic (Izakaya)
