did anyone go last year? i am thinking of going this year, but the website doesn't have much information to work with. the list of chefs seems impressive, but do you really get a good exposure to the cooking of those chefs? is the steep price tag worth it? is there enough food or is it mostly wine and hors devours?

    Ridin' your coattails. Didn't go last year but thinking of going this year. Same questions as you. The wife loves Fabio so I believe we'll be going regardless.

        2) what reviews? the only one I found, by nsxtasy, was positive.

          If you search the Chicago Tribune website, there are some comments realaed to a recent article about this year's event. They were pretty negative about last year. My recollection about general comments last year was that it was a good event for wine but that food was mishandled- ie not enough. They have promised to fix the food this year.
