Where to eat along I-80

biga290 Jul 19, 2009 04:11 PM

I will soon be traveling the length of I-80 in PA. Any places nearby worth stopping or should I bring the picnic cooler.

you will want to bring a cooler to maintain proper nutrition but may find a few morsels along the way. the Sheetz c-store chain has edible made-to-order sandwichs/wraps, etc. and OK coffee. being a long drive through a long state you will hopefully get add'l feedback. having driven it many times I can assure you there are no "must stop" eateries.

I may be dating myself but whatever happened to the clarion clipper?

You might want to check out this board from earlier this year -- http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/516311

I think it is still accurate. The recommendations have to be better than Sheetz. You asked for "worth stopping" as opposed to chow-worthy in Philadelphia.
