  1. LOVED the "lush" comment in the midst of the "vodka, vodka, vodka, vodka....cocktail, cocktail, cocktail" comments about 1:30 minutes in! ROFL!!!!

Maybe just one to many cocktail recipes.

    2. OK, thanks for that epileptic seizure. I'm pretty sure I'll be having nightmares tonight too.

Visions of well, color coordinated nightmares nonetheless.

Seriously - that ice blue tablescape they showed several times was frightening.

      2. LOLOLOL! Great clip! I should probably thank my lucky stars that I'm not famous and on TV so people can string together all my annoying catch phrases, gestures, etc. ;)

        1. ..and, don't you love how the brillant, color-coordinated sets & endless wardrobes are highlighted so beautifully! Seriously!

Yes, well, don't you redecorate the whole room for each meal? I remember seeing (please don't ask me why, I'll plead boredom or comic relief) SL make a Moroccan meal in which she made a special screen for her fireplace and constructed a low table ensconced in fabric with crystals...JUST FOR THAT ONE OCCASION. Too funny! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

Funny you should mention Sara's considerable "construction skills" when a package of pre-sliced mushrooms is such a miracle of modern science!

Lordy, that gal is entertainment, the whole package! What would we do w/out her quick tips, artistic eye and sense of style. I know I'd be lost.

              1. re: HillJ

Yes, 10 minutes LA-ter, we have mushrooms finally sliced, with no help from the grocery store, thankyouverymuch!

Two HOURS later, we've been to Home Depot and the fabric store and are NOW ready to get to work on the damned Moroccan table and repainting the living room. ;) No wonder she needs one cocktail now and one later! She's gonna be up all night getting it just right!

          2. I would have liked to see a "Tablescape" with the thick 9" um, er, ah...cookie dough roll.

No, you want your friend Nigella to invite you for, um, a roll of the dough, shall we say? ;) Isn't it amazing how you can twist just about any expression to make it sound risque? Talk about food porn! HA HA!

              1. re: kattyeyes

I'll bet her cupboards are made of naughty pine.

              2. re: billieboy

I hope SE's does a Tablescape video. Moments to cherish. :)

                1. re: HillJ

That'll send Phaedrus screaming from the room. OR Phaedrus will have to be committed. ;-)

                  1. re: LindaWhit

I have one arm in the strait jacket as it is Linda.

              3. Does anyone remember the contraption she used to sell to make curtains? It used yards & yards of fabric kinda poked into a wire coat hanger frame? That was probably the start of her lush, lush, lush tablescape career.

                1. Wow. That was awesome!
