atelier thuet - RIP?

i know that the restaurant side of this location was shut down about a month ago. but i was told that they will still be making and selling the prepared foods and breads there. i just went to get bread and the space looks shut down. anyone know the scoop?

While I didn't go in, I walked by Saturday morning and it looked open for business. The curtains were pulled open and I saw loaves of bread and pastries on the shelves. I too saw the notice "closed due to flood" and was sure it was the end especially since the closure of the restaurant and recent opening of petite thuet at King & Yonge. Also, unless something has recently changed, Atelier is open on Sundays.

Was told today that this location is now being used exclusively for their bread/pastry production only - no retail at all anymore. Can't say this is 100%, but from the sounds of things above, it's rings true.

Didn't they sell loaves of bread too; I wanted to go there. Dang.

I made a trip there a couple of Sundays ago to find them closed, and a sign on the door declared 'closed due to flood, please visit one of our other locations'. I thought the timing was interesting, seeing as that was the first weekend their King St. location was open. I have previously visited the Liberty Village location on Sundays... Monday is the one day a week they say they are closed, at last check.

i have been there on sundays and even their website lists sunday hours. there was no sign on the door and the windows were covered. i guess if there was a flood, there might have been more serious damage causing a longer closure. we'll see...

they are not open sundays.. and since bread & prepared foods do not last over the weekend they take all the stock out.. but the location is still open...
