I'm not sure I would put E & O in the same class as the restaurants you mentioned for one night in San Francisco, especially if you could have that same night in Larkspur or San Jose.

I would say Incanto if you're looking for a unique somewhat more casual experience.

I was a visitor to SF, never been to the other cities. And, I don't know any of the other restaurants named. I will say we had a number of dinners over 1 week at EO and we were blown away. As to a "casual experience", EO is casual.
