Central NJ: Cranbury Pizza - get the brick oven!

Read many accolades about pizza in this area and a few mention Cranbury Pizza. What they forget to say is "Make sure to gt the Brick Oven pie!" I would defy anyone to try it and give it a bad review. Best to let it sit for 10 minutes before digging in. The veggie sub (which I normally despise) it top notch as they make it with fresh mozzarella and grilled veggies). Keep away from the salads. .

Also, don't overlook their cheesesteaks. They're as good as their pizza, IMHO better than Pat's, Geno's, Tony Luke's and the rest of the Philly bunch - and oh so close by! : )

True, cheesesteaks are good here. The Italian sub is also good. We go there sometimes, it's also a BYOB, which saves you money, and usually get pizza and antopasto. Their dinners are so-so, would rather drive to Laico's in Jersey City for really good dinners. Out of the way, yes, but worth t.

Agreed. Plus the ambiance is definitely lacking as it's your standard 10 formica table pizza parlor. However sitting outside when the weathers nice is quite pleasant.

I just brought in a few brick ovens for some business visitors from St Louis. Instant fans.

We sure did enjoy sitting Al Fresco in the alley, a casual, yet cozy setting, for pizza on a sunny afternoon in Central NJ!

Then it was across the street for some Cranbury Delights Ice Cream.

Cranbury pizza is great! My SIL had a store in Cranbury and we often stopped there for a snack. It's wonderful!
