Buying local seafood and produce near Sea Isle City

My family and I are heading to Sea Isle City, NJ for a week at the shore. We'd like to buy some locally caught seafood and local produce. In the past we've been disappointed with the seafood we've bought in Sea Isle. It's from a restaurant - the name escapes me - I get the impression that much of it has been frozen. Are there any good seafood mongers near Sea Isle. I've found several posts about places to buy locally caught in Cape May, but I'm wondering if I need to drive that far.

There's a small produce stand just across the breezeway from Sea Isle, but I'm wondering if there are others that you'd recommend.

I'm pretty sure that Stone Harbor has organized a weekly farmers market, similar to the one in Margate at Steve and Cookies. You could probably contact Stone Harbor local government for details.

As far as fresh seafood, Lobster House in Cape May is probably the best.

Just bite the bullet and drive into Cape May if you want really fresh. Black Sea bass is great right now as is the fluke. Make sure you pick up some berries while you are at any of the little produce stands, for some reason they are always the best down in that area, like little pops of candy!
