"Dark French bistro" in Woody Allen's Melinda & Melinda?

Does anyone know if this place exists? In the movie, it looks like a wine cellar. Any tips appreciated!

Yeah, Pastis. Sorry about the typo. I remember a couple of reviews making a point to mention it when the movie first came out., and how it fits into Allen's imaginary new york where everyone has money.

I believe the "dark French bistro" scene is filmed in Il Buco.

yeah. i posted here when the film originally came out, and the consensus was Il Buco.

Pastis get's a scene, but not the one you're referring to I believe.

If I remember correctly Patis is in the opening scene when they are all sitting around a table and starting to tell the story that forms the basis for the rest of the movie. They cut back to the table a few times. I remember when I first saw the movie I really liked the look of the dark French restaurant and had looked it up and found it was Il Buco.
