Late Night in Santa Monica

We are arriving at LAX at 9PM and by the time we get our bags and rental car, we probably won't be at our Santa Monica hotel until 12. Is there anywhere good to go to grab a late night bite after a long flight? We are staying near the pier and walking distance restaurants would be ideal. Thanks!

Joes pizza is casual late night food in Santa Monica. it's more of a new york thing but its late and decent.

Your best call is probably Riva, which is a two minute walk down wilshire on the other side of the street from the hotel...the kitchen is open til 12 and the bar/lounge is open til 1.

Good modern style thin crust pizzas

You might want to check it out anyways if you're going to be in town for a while.

Riva is a great suggestion. Turns out the hotels I listed all stop serving food in the bar at 10:30. Sushi Roku stops serving at 11:15.

Riva is a great late night spot and from 10-12 midnight they have "Happy Hour" with specials on pizza, little plates and drinks. I love the cucumber fizz; Very welcoming and involved staff/waitpersons.

It's a true blessing that Sushi Roku (Santa Monica) is not an option for you. It's just not good.

Cabable or Busable but probably not really Walkable from the Fairmont.

PDC is too far to walk. But if you go that far by cab, I would try Wilshire instead.

If you're at the Fairmont, check out Fig, and look at their hours. Also, Bar Pinxto is nearby, as is Boa, a trendy steakhouse w/ a hoppin' bar, and Ye Olde King's Head, for good English fish & chips.

It'll be more like 11, but I can only think of Swingers (which isn't really walking distance), maybe Sushi Roku, Bar Robata, maybe Salut, Casa del Mar lobby bar, Viceroy bar, Penthouse at the Huntley bar. Where are you staying, exactly?

We are staying at the Fairmont. We liked Sushi Roku in Vegas - that's a good suggestion! Thanks
