Athens, GA - Ciabatta/focaccia, red pepper salad?

Hi, all,
I'm looking for a source in Athens for good, consistent ciabatta or focaccia bread. Any recommendations?

I'm also really missing the red pepper marinated salad that they used to serve at Tuscan Market (which closed a long time ago). I would buy it by the pound. I have been thinking about it all summer. Anyone know where I can get a substitute, or a similar recipe try to make it on my own?

We buy Luna bread at Earth Fare. Really good bread, and we occasionally see their ciabatta bread packaged two small loaves to a bag.

Luna rocks. Athens is very lucky to have them.

Doesn't that new bakery/deli place in Normal Town (former Black Forest location) serve/sell Luna? Or is it Big City Bread they sell? I haven't been to it yet.

I swore off Big City bread years ago. Maybe they've gotten their act together? Different owners and such?

We used to really enjoy their pastries. Their rugulach was really good.

It sells Luna bread because it _is_ Luna bakery, basically.

Both Luna and Big city have stands at the farmers market in Bishop park.. Couldn't find Antonio Zenere in the phone book or I would have sugested you call and ask him. I was too hooked on the tuna sandwhich to cast my eyes elsewhere..

Luna bakery has a wide selection of great breads sold through athens locally grown and a few other vendors I believe. Also, big city bread has seemed to go up in bread quality in the past year.
