We ordered a case of Barritt's from City Line Liquor on North Main in Providence and they were very nice to oblige us. You can also get it at High Spirit's next to Whole Foods in Providence. I disagree that Gosseling's is comparable, it is pretty wan compared to the nice bite of Barritt's.

In my opinion, Blenheim makes a far better spicy ginger ale than Barrit's ever did. Blenheim uses cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Even their "Not So Hot" toned variety has way more spice and flavor than Barritt's. They also make a diet version that's quite good. This information is, of course, useless in solving the problem at hand.

If someone held a gun to my head and told me I had to find Barritt's for a Dark 'n Stormy, I'd try Marty's Liquors in Newton just north of the Mass Pike.

Barritt's is okay, but I (and many others) say the best is D&G. The most reliable source I have found is one Shaw's store in New Bedford. It's the store just off 140 at Exit 4, the same shopping center where the DMV and Savers are.
