Good strawberry rhubarb pie? Anywhere?

I saw it at Open City Diner in Cleveland Park but was leaving and didn't get the chance to try it. Will go back... but does anybody have leads/reviews on other versions (or this version)? Prefer to go right to the best and skip the bad ones. I like it very tart.

Make your own with two frozen crust, on for the pie, and one on top.
Can't beat it and it's so darn EASY !!
Sugar, strawberries, rhubarb and crusts... that's all you need.

I just bought one from the Whole Foods last week and was pleasantly surprised. I like it tart also. Oddly, it was only called Strawberry Pie on the label, I had to check the ingredients to make sure it had rhubarb.

I had spectacular strawberry-rhubarb shortcake at Proof last week. it's not pie, but it was wonderful.

Trader Joe's version was OK, but no rave reviews and probably a little sweet for you.

There are 3 places I know of for Strawberry/Rhubarb pie. Whole Foods, Butlers Orchards and the Amish Market in Gaithersburg. I am told at the farmer's market that because of the spring rains we are having a short rhubarb season this year.
