Help for out-of-towners

wozzle1974 Jul 14, 2009 03:16 PM

I'm currently living in Texas and I have a friend in West Virginia, and we are both going to be in Seattle at the same time. We'd like to meet for breakfast, and unfortunately for us, Monday is the only day we can meet. I'm originally from Washington, but she isn't so I'd like to find a place we can have a late breakfast in the Capitol Hill area where she is staying. Does anyone have any recommendations? There will be two extremely well-behaved children in tow, ages 4 and 7.

I would say that Crave would be perfect, but I think they have closed? Tough call for a Monday...

I've not checked hours, etc, but how bout Glo's or Broadway Grill for brunch (good, cheap and plentiful), or Volunteer Park Cafe (for chi-chi-neighborhoodie), Coastal Kitchen brunch, maybe Cafe Presse, in a slightly sideways vein.
Kingfish might hit the spot. 22 Doors? You might explore possibilities in Madison Valley.
      Table 219, 219 Broadway E.
      Louisa's, down on Eastlake.

Thanks, I'll run some of these by her!
