Sacramento Choices...
Hired the babysitter and taking the wife out for a date night in Sacramento, only decision is where to go. Need y'alls help. If you had your choice, which would you chose?
1. Lucca
2. Esquire
3. Ella
4. Someplace else altogether

Lucca - nice courtyard, beautiful people, boring food.
Esquire - dark wood, lobbyists, big meat. Not the kind of place **my** wife would want to go for a date.
Ella - pretty space, good craft cocktails, decent food. Viable option.
Others - Biba and Mulvaney's are longstanding favorites. Biba is a little more formal. My wife and I went to Mulvaney's for her b-day a couple of weeks ago. The food was interesting and tasty. It deserves a spot on the rotation. But for a single night out, consider her comment - "for my next birthday, we're sticking with the Waterboy."
So yeah, I guess it's a third for the Waterboy.
