Ladies and Gents I need your help. I am on a quest for the most delicious kosher fish and chips in NY. Thanks in advance for your replies!

You will have to trek out to Fish of the C's in Teaneck. It is the closest there is to proper fish and chips in the area.

Supposedly Mike's Bistro will have it on the menu as a special every now and then. I've never had it myself, but I've heard good things. Of course since it's not a regular item you would need to call before going to make sure they have it.

There is a line of the white mini-buses that leaves from the George Washington Bus Terminal (at 178th St.) that goes within a close walking distance of the West Englewood Ave. restaurants in Teaneck. Friends of mine without cars go there from Washington Heights routinely.

Estihana also has it on their menu; no clue how good it is. But as some have pointed out, most of the Teaneck restaurants are within public transportation range, if a bit of a pain, still.

For Fish of the C's you want the NJ transit 187, (leave from GWB bus station) as it goes down Cedar Lane ..."Spanish" buses only go on Rt. 4.

from the uws, you are better off leaving from port authority and taking the 167 down Queen Anne to Cedar Lane. It leaves pretty often during rush hour.
